When they gave a wrong answer or repeated any of the previously-given ones, the miserlies, who hated to see the contestants win money, rang a bell and made them stop answering. The more answers they gave in 45 seconds, the most money they earned.
In the first part, three male/female couples had to give the most correct answers to the questions they were given.
